Service to mankind is service to God. That is the essence of Shivam- It is all about doing things that are good, divine and pure. Special Children are not the children of lesser God. They need to be nurtured with care, compassion and empathy. 

Digant Care, an initiative under ASU (Association for Social Upliftment), is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of children with intellectual disabilities. The center provides a day-care environment that ensures safety, engagement, and emotional support, along with skill development programs that help each child explore their potential. Through structured activities, life-skill training, and vocational exposure, Digant Care aims to foster independence and inclusion. With compassion at its core, the project bridges the gap between care and capability, creating a nurturing space where every special child feels valued, confident, and a meaningful part of society. 

 She Green program, managed by  ASU, focuses on improving women’s employability through sustainable livelihood creation. The initiative trains women in the production of unadulterated homemade food and natural skincare products, ensuring purity, quality, and local authenticity. The manufactured goods are marketed through a dedicated vocational outlet, where children with intellectual disabilities are meaningfully engaged in  inventory, and selling activities. This unique ecosystem connects women empowerment with inclusion—creating jobs, nurturing dignity, and promoting community-based social entrepreneurship. She Green stands as a model of compassion-driven economy, blending care, creativity, and conscious living.  

The growth and development of our society is closely related to the success of our youth. To be successful, one must develop three personal attributes - Attitude, Skills and Knowledge. That is Satyam- the knowledge of self.

To make a living, grow and lead a happy life one should hone one’s skill, competency and knowledge. Nevertheless, nurturing a positive attitude is very vital to be successful.

As the society, culture and life evolve through changing times, it becomes imperative that our youth also learn how to adapt to the changes for making a good career and lead a happy life and by upskilling and re- skilling themselves.

Academy of Skill Training, Research and Advancement (ASTRA) is dedicated centre for imparting training to the aspiring youth in employability and life skills. In the ever changing world of Technology, it is very crucial that the youth are constantly mentored, guided, trained and counselled on the evolving job market, modified skill set and challenges of life. ASTRA provides certification programs, guidance and support service for Doctoral Research and customised training workshops related to life and employability.
